Lordsburg Hidalgo Library
As you make your way back into town, head to the Lordsburg Hidalgo Library. The library was a WPA building completed in August 1937. The Aztec-Pueblo style is pleasing and unique. It is designated a Historic Building on the New Mexico State Register of Cultural Properties and the National Register of Historic Places. The adobe wall around the library is even older, dating back to the Hidalgo County Courthouse Park, built in the 1920s.
